Do read the book, if you're a fan of reading. There's also a cartoon version from the 1980s on Youtube; the animation is awful, but the story is preserved pretty well in it--it even has direct quotations from the book. You should check it out when you have 45 minutes to spare ;}

I like this version better, without the black lines this piece seems much more softer, more emotional. I like the shading on her dress as well. Poor Erik >.>

Beatiful part of the book, and the scene is very darling to my heart, indeed <3

You know, it was REALLY hard to decide on the colored-/or black lineart, but this one looks very good, so I feel quite right with myself XD <3 swell work! Chrisitne has a darling face, and Erik looks very good (in his very specific, thrilling way, naturally XD) as well!
