Because I feel bad for not having updated for awhile, and since my scanner's busted, you guys'll hafta make do with an oldie, at least until after finals when I can color again! I drew this in a train station during a 2-hour delay over the summer, so it's not stellar quality, and it's pretty dated, too. Still, I'm fond of it, so I figure I'll stick it up here!I know there's a huge, glaring mistake, but you know, I'm okay with that XD And if I can deal, so can you! Whee!

Well,let's see...Firstly I have to say that only using a single pencil/pen you made a nice level of shadowing.Their faces are expressive and not too long faced like other times.The clothes of Dot are good and I like the movement of the hair in both characters ^^

Ugh, this one has a lot of mistakes, but I just love using pens so much; I'm glad you like the look of it! The Witcher's cloak was actually finished months after the trainstation, but most of it was done while waiting. I need more breaks like that, actually; it's the only time I draw anything XD

And the shading on dorothy reminds me of those old woodcuts from the middle ages... dunno why, it must be the sort of straight lines, and stuff. Anyway, great work!

Thanks! I'd agree on those two for my favorite, too! Dorothy was all of these lighter colors, you know, and it's really hard to do good hatching on a folder propped up on your knee on a station bench, so I decided I'd stay simple with Dorothy and do messy on Witcher; I'm glad you like it!
