I waas in the park and saw a bunch of seagulls flying around by the pond. So, I stepped into the middle of them, aimed my cam at the sky and shot them in rapid burst mode. It was really a blessing. Several times last year, I tried with no success to photograph flying gulls. Thanks for the positive feedback.

The dramatic shading, the enticing colors, just everything about it is so perfect, it appears as a model of a species. Nice of him (her?) to pose for you in this painterly photograph! Once again, you manage to stir the imagination of the viewer. Somehow, looking at this makes one realize how much beauty there is surrounding us, and all we have to do is look around...

I was standing by the water amid several gulls flying around...I was blessed to capture this one as it flew directly over me. Partial credit goes to my newer faster camera. All last year, I tried to shoot flying gulls with my little cheap point and shoot camera, with little to no success. Thank you for looking in on this one!

It's really a manipulation of two pictures I took. The bird I shot at dusk on a warm - hence the shadows on the bird... The sky, I shot on a cold cloudy evening in January. Thank you. I'm glad you like the light and color.

I was blessed to stand in the middle of a bunch of gulls flying around a pond in the park, one evening. Took out the camera and put it on burst mode and click-click-clicked. I managed to get some great pics that day. It made up for the dozen or so times all last year when I aimed my camera at flying seagulls who skillfully avoided my lens.
