Long exposure shot, with minimal postwork (Basically only slight light/contrast and slight crop, usm) I've submitted a couple of times from this area before, but this is a little different. This is an old lighthouse area, and in the past the buildings you see in the picture were used for accommodation by the men that were stationed there.Related content

I'm really liking the the background in this shot (the sky's an amazing colour + has whipsy cluds to stop it being boring + the buildings themseles)...in fact I like this a lot. Its well composed and the colours are amazing. However there's just waaay too much noise in them rocks!! you might want to try running it through [link] (a freeware program which removes noise without degrading picture quality noticeably) to rectify this...

Uh, I know what Neat Image is... But what kind of calibration have you done on your monitor? Do you have a color profile on it at all? Maybe it's my profile which is skewed, but it would be interesting to know.

no I haven't really set this monitor up properly which could b why I'm seeing noise in ur pic, esp as its a TFT screen...
