An Akira class starship warps after that infinite horizon that beckons the adventurer to swim in the great unknown that lies shrouded in mystery behind that perpetual veil.

ARTIST NOTE: After doing so many vibrant fantastic space scenes exploring colorful tempestuous wonders, I like to do a quiet, gentle vision, such as this, to cleanse my palate. A couple things. I love creating a warp bubble with this sort of unwarped "lens" right in front of the ship - a clear vision of what lies ahead and it creates a subtle "well" or "tunnel" feeling that pulls us in with the ship. Also, metaphorically, notice how the warp bubble forms a faint iris containing the reflection of stars in its gaze as it beholds the ship, suggesting the eye of God, who is the intrinsic possessor of the infinite and eternal as part of His nature, which we mortals cannot fully fathom, though we desire to grow closer Him an He has made a way. Enjoy!
