Description
The U.S.S. Raven seeks shelter on an uncharted planet in the Delta Quadrant, finding cover in a turbulent storm from a close call with the Borg ship they had been stalking. Young Annika Hansen wishes her parents would be content exploring these unknown worlds instead of playing their dangerous game of "cat and mouse" studying that creepy cybernetic species. She reopened her PADD and read her literature lesson for the day - Edgar Allen Poe. She lingered on the passage as lightning flashed outside, lighting up the tempestuous sea and storm:

    Then this ebony bird beguiling my sad fancy into smiling,

    By the grave and stern decorum of the countenance it wore,

    “Though thy crest be shorn and shaven, thou,” I said, “art sure no craven,

    Ghastly grim and ancient Raven wandering from the Nightly shore—

    Tell me what thy lordly name is on the Night’s Plutonian shore!”

                Quoth the Raven “Nevermore.”
