Description
In the 26th Century, a small contingent of Dauntless class Interceptors drop out of Quantum slipstream in orbit of New Corinth, a non-Federation, human colony, in the immediate aftermath of an Interspatial Ballistic Missile strike from the neighboring planet Draconium III. The Dauntless starships will stop any further missiles while they secure the area and wait for emergency medical ships to arrive as well as the Enterprise J, which will deal with the situation from a diplomatic perspective.

One of the fastest ships ever built, the Dauntless class had a sophisticated Quantum Slipstream Drive that made it perfect as a long-range interceptor. Though small, it was fast, agile, and very powerful.

The Dauntless class was used by the Federation in the 26th century along with the Enterprise J as it is seen in the background of the battle of Procyon V.
