They say that taxidermy is good because it is a nice way to remember the animal spirit ... yes, but it is nice to remember it if it died of natural causes. It is ridiculous to kill them and use this method to later say that it is a way of respecting it.
If you respect it, do not touch it.

I am not for wolf hunting just because I've been face to face with them but..Oh god I want your collection soooo bad @_@ . I want to end up with a wolf in my collection * got a coy wolf thrilled with that but yeah* I dont like that their killed but with taxidermy/fur collecting the animals spirit gets to live on. Don't let the bashers get to you , i doubt your who went out and killed the wolves you simply wanted to preserve them for what they are. A beautiful animal.

I am a wolfaboo. But I really think maybe YOU should do research. Some of the wolves are critically endangered. Like the Mexican grey, There are currently
There are only about 300 Mexican wolves total in captivity. The goal of the reintroduction program was to restore at least 100 wolves to the wild by 2006, and it will take many more than that before the lobo is safe from extinction. Today there are approximately 97 of these wolves in the wild.
And about this many Red wolves:
Hunted to the brink of extinction, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) rounded up fewer than 20 red wolves to be bred in captivity in 1980. In 1987, the FWS reintroduced red wolves into the wild, but years of political attacks, popular misconceptions and insufficient recovery plans continue to plague recovery efforts. As a result, their numbers continue to decline and red wolves are once again facing extinction in the wild.
But again:
This is Something I'm okay with As long as everything including organs, Meat, Bones, And fur is used.
Population. Wolves have unique howls, like fingerprints, that scientists (and other pack members) can use to tell them apart. There are an estimated 7,000 to 11,200gray wolves in Alaska, 3,700 in the Great Lakes region and 1,675 in the Northern Rockies.
But wolves today are thriving. so As long as everything is used, Im fine.

Do i have to repeat this to every single freaking wolfaboo?
okay...
THE WOLVES WERE LEGALLY HUNTED AND SOLD DUE TO THEM OVERPOPULATING AND SURPLUS KILLING WILDLIFE AND LIVESTOCK , IN MANY NORTHERN REGIONS OF NORTH AMERICA.
THEY ARE NOT ENDANGERED, OR "MURDERED".
AND IF YOU THINK THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL ONLY WHEN THEY ARE ALIVE, THEN YOU ARE A DISGUSTING, INCOMPATIBLE, INCOMPLETE, DUMB MINDED, FOOL OF HUMANITY.
IT IS NOT AWFUL.
IT IS NOT CRUEL.
ITS CALLED LIFE.
L-I-F-E.
LIFE!
PLEASE DO YOUR GOD DAMN RESEARCH BEFORE YOU COMMENT ON PHOTOS LIKE THIS BECAUSE THE TAXIDERMISTS OF DEVIANTART ARE REALLY GETTING SICK AND TIRED OF PEOPLE LIKE YOU, PLEASE.
thank you.

no, i don't think so. People who want to wear animals fur are disgusting (and all the words as you said) because we are living in XXI, when we can have so many kinds and types of clothes. You are not in prehistory or not even dark ages, so don't need to kill wild animals to protect yourself. SO THATS WHY this is just a sick passion. I never know what do you think- you are someone special when you have killed many of foxes or wolfes??, when you can be so proud you are wearing this beautiful fur?? I have no idea and i dont want to know that or know you!
Oh, and please DO NOT call me dumb or stupid person, i think the same of all of you, but i am clever enough to keep it in my personal opinion. and YES- this is called MURDER and you are the murderers, when you kill our wildlife only for fun and own satisfaction.
Also I am not the only one. But i have enough courage to saing that on your face.

(According to the Dictionary on my Mac computer.)
Murder:
Verb
"The unlawful premeditated killing of one HUMAN BEING by another."
Nowhere does this definition say the word "animal".
There is no murder in this picture. There is only simple hunting and furs. People still wear fur these days, and it is often more popular in some areas than cotton coats.
Hunting is not murder, yes people do it for fun and profit. I have fun when I'm hunting(I've killed two wolves, twenty-five deer, and six geese), and I sell 75% of all my kills to food companies. (Wolf is a delicacy in the northern US.) The rest I keep to eat or fur to wear during hunting season.

HunterStrait In reply to MS-Heder [2014-06-30 01:05:44 +0000 UTC]
Could you look up the definition of murder please?
And assuming that I kill all my for fun and my own satisfaction,
I don't want to eat factory farmed meat that has been pumped full. of steroids, neither do i want to become a vegan.
So for my own satisfaction, i eat tonight.
hunters have to buy tags to hunt the animal they want to hunt, witch can cost over the hundreds now due to city growth.
And there is usually a limit. example, i can only harvest one deer a year, 20 morning doves, and six rooster
pheasants during the hunting seasons, where young animals do not get abandoned. And for some species, such as the coyote, bobcat, and collard dove, they have no bag limit(at least in my state).
so in the argument you cannot say that we're killing your wildlife because it isn't mine,or yours or anybody elses. And that there's plenty, well, after the wolves were introduced they're surplus killing elk and deer(In Yellowstone, because of the reintroduction, elk numbers have plummeted down to 77%) in our backyards, and hunters are getting the blame for it, but i don't want to start an argument off topic of this.
