Description
After saving the city from a near nuclear destruction, Alex Mercer returned to the hospital that Bradley Ragland had his comatose sister, Dana. She continued to show no sign of waking, still under the influence that Elizabeth Greene had placed on her. Alone with her, Alex decided to impose his strand of the Blacklight virus on Dana, feeling a control transfer from him would force an awakening, maybe even consume or diminish whatever Greene had done to her.

But nothing happened. Thinking Dana was lost to him due to Greene, Alex left, going on his world journey of self discovery and purpose.

Unbeknownst to Alex, Dana would wake a short time later. Finding herself now alone, Dana left in the pursuit of bringing Blackwatch out into the light for what they had done. During which Blackwatch was still hunting for her, considering her involvement with Alex Mercer.

When a confrontation between Dana and Blackwatch occurred, Dana learned of Alex’s gift as her arm shifted into a bladed weapon. She easily killed the agents and consumed them, but the event scared her. Not wishing to harm another sole like that again, she kept her infection a secrete, and refused to her abilities again and solely relied on her intelligence.

When the second outbreak occurred, she felt it was no longer possible to hide her abilities and unleashed them on the horde of infected, becoming a living weapon like her brother.

PHYSICAL PROWESS

As she was infected with the same DX - 1118 strain as Alex, she has much of the same superhuman and shape shifting powers as well as many that she developed herself.

OFFENSIVE POWERS

Dana can form her biomass into variety of weapons, mostly slicing or crushing tools. In combat, she either uses biomass to augment her strength or create various blades and blunt weapons. One new weapon that is a combination of the Whipfist and Blade powers is the Scythe Bioweapon, which resembles the Blade power but the arm extends out further like the Whipfist, allowing the Blade to cut through almost anything.

Dana can use two defensive powers, guarding her against enemy attacks and weapons, much like Alex.
