Description
So, I love using buttons and I have one that clearly says not to thank me for the faves, like the one below. But people rarely, if ever, read these damned things and go ahead with thanking you anyway. I give up...Go on, spam my page.
Do it.
It's not that I'm ungrateful, but it's tedious writing the same thing over and over again. At least be a little more creative or try to start up a conversation with me, I respond better to that.
The template I used was made by *SparkLum and you can find that here:

Why isn't this button working anymore, I had it on my page for so long before I just had to remove it because it stopped showing up. ??
Any ideas.

It's old. I need to update some shit and code I suppose.
I'm just lazy.
But I'll get around to it. Probably make a few more while I'm at it too.

You should make one that says something like "Thanking for the fave is mandatory" and then you could tell off people who did NOT thank you

Ha! I should do that actually, if only for shits and giggles.

I did, but the second link wont stop showing as [link] rather then as a part of the code.

Oh. Put a end code tag with the slash on the opposite side between the http:// - like: [link]

Doesn't work. God these things are complicated. lol

It works fine. You can't use that in comments though, but it works in journals, custom panels, and the others.
You could have always used the thumb.

It doesn't, refresh and see for yourself. I did it exactly as you said and I've even been googling it.

Are you trying to put it as the actual image in your deviation description? I don't think you can do that.
Just tell people to copy the img src html or use :thumb210195603:

The No Thanks button I was using previously has it set up that way.

Good. You have to wrestle with the code tags here.

[link] Go here and look at the code in the description. He used both links but somehow he has them show up as text. I'm even looking at the source code for that page to see how.

Yeah, or just add italics tags between the < and the a and then between the h and the ttp of both links. It breaks the links and code. :v

Thanks by the way, the hint you gave me is what made me notice the code in the source page. You're a hero.
