Nyu was the first focus in the stories and is the main mascot for all my demigirls. She loved pulling pranks on others, even if those pranks may have ended in untimely deaths for the victims. Death never meant much for Nyu, as there are too many people living anyway.
Growing up, Nyu never met, knew, nor cared who her DNA father was, and only lived with her mother for a year and was then tossed out to live on her own, as was custom amongst the feline society. But as Nyu grew up, she never cared for working and instead spent her time having fun. She never cared for luxuries, and would rarely stay in one place for long before moving on. She never had a problem getting food as she was an self-taught expert thief.
Nyu never got along with her family, but despite never meeting most of them, all feline demigirls can tell who they share a close blood with. In Nyu's case, she would do everything to avoid them, as the family business was not one she cared for. Her mother was the founder and leader of group of feline ninjas and assassins. She saw an enormous potential in Nyu to become her star ninja, but Nyu didn't want to be so diciplined and instead ran away when confronted by her mother years later. Her mother, still convinced Nyu will join, sends her lesser hires to find and fight Nyu, who receives no challenge in these attacks often leading to the death of her would be attackers.
After years of ducking her mother and the police, Nyu finally finds a friend in Shinsa (After inflating and blowing her up, only to find out she wouldn't die). Thus, the pair journeyed away from Felicia (and the cops), to have fun in other places. Despite her mischievous ways she is more than willing to protect her friends. She pretty much figures the only ones allowed to mess with her friends are her and her friends.

Nyu has a natural ability to fight, but doesn't do so unless provoked, meaning someone is attacking her. Even amongst other felines, she is considered to have remarkable agility. She may not be the most intelligent individual, but she is crafty, making even the other demigirl wary of her.
Fun Fact: People are not identified by race but rather the city they are from. For instance, Nyu is not known Feline girl, but rather a Felician. Calling anyone by their race is very looked down upon in the world. So calling Shinsa a fish girl would be considered an insult. Even if one got the name of the town wrong, it’s better than calling them by race. For instance, Trista may be mistaken for a member of the Salamantric Tribe but she’s from Reptopolis so she is actually a Reptopolian. But it’s not taken wrong to call someone a Salamantrian even if they are a Reptopolian. It can be corrected, but never call her a pink lizard. That’s an insult. In the stories, I had the characters calling each other by races, but that was a mistake as I had not intended. More reasons I want to rewrite the stories.
