a few of you have asked that I make a shading tutorial, so here you go!! I hope its helpful and makes sense! :')

also I should add that if youre shading a character that has light colors AND dark colors for its base, or very contrasting colors on its base, to be careful of shading it all at once! sometimes the shading will look too dark on the light but too light on the dark and it just gets complicated. so i would suggest if youre having that issue either to take your eraser tool, turn the strength down on it and erase where the shading is too dark (on the light parts) OR, do a complete different layer if there is a lot of area to cover on the light/dark or contrasty base.

and again, all these colors sometimes depend on what color your base is, if you want a suggestion on which shading/highlighting colors to use, feel free to ask me!
