uhm, considered that the C4D HelpFile shows you exactly how and when to use nurbs and splines, and much better than this tutorial, which simply shows you how to create some cheap trendwhore abstract... uhm... where's the point?

There was no need to comment just to slip in a 'witty' reply man. Some find it useful, others don't.

Nyro In reply to skargrim [2004-04-24 08:24:32 +0000 UTC]

p.s. It's not like my comments are meant personally. They refere to the artwork alone, not to the artist, except when exclusively stated.

Nyro In reply to skargrim [2004-04-24 08:23:40 +0000 UTC]

but tell me what the comments are good for if you're not allowed to post negative criticism without some smartass making stupid remarks?
If you post your work to deviantart, you should expect and accept the fact that not everybody will like it. And some dare to speak up.

I suppose so. Good point.

mrpumpernickel [2004-04-21 12:37:01 +0000 UTC]

Just to correct you, there is no such thing as a "NURB" since the word NURBS isn't plural, it's an abbrevation for "Non Uniform Rational B-Spline". Non Uniform Rational B (as NURB would be) makes no sense at all
