On a side note, this is exactly why I never got into graphic design and never will.
I guess I'll never know why some people actually like getting paid to pick out the right font, put it in the right place with the right shapes and the right colors and say the right thing while all the while looking pretty decent without cliches.

I like the style you're going for with these profiles; the case file one, that is. It came through very nicely. The monochrome colouring and low-opacity text boxes do make it look like something out of a top secret high priority intelligence database.
As for Null, well, you know I love her. XD Gotta say that evil smile and tongue creep me out in this picture.

Well, the manga got canceled before I finished the 4th chapter where Null makes her debut...
But she'll appear in the illustrated book sometime next month!
But Maximillian makes his debut in chapter 3, which I did finish.

Well, if you read my latest journal on my ~Magna-Core account, you'll get the full picture, but basically it was becoming more trouble than it was worth. I'm not the same man I was when I started it, but it requires me to use that same mindset anyway, so things just weren't working out. I figured if I can't do the manga with my heart behind it 100%, then it best not finish at all.
On the other hand, I see the novel format as a chance to tell the story in HD. I'm not limited by technical shortcomings with my artwork, and I can go into more depth with the characters.
