Description
In an attempt to broaden my horizons, I decided recently to give another shot at animating things, and after a couple of hours, I managed to come up with what you see above. Although this is merely a small test animation, I think it came out rather successful, and might try animating more scenes in the future.The scene features the Eterian Republic army's brand new M-75A "Lariat"Β (based on the MBT-70)Β main battle tank in testing at the Tonopah testing and evaluation range and features two M31A APCs alongside it.
MS-Paint (for scene mockup)
Paint.NET (for scene finishing and animation)
UnFREEz (for stringing together the frames into an animation)

Dunno why but, for some reason the tank kind of reminds me of the Grizzly Tanks from Red Alert 2 (or at least, how I imagined they'd look like from the side)...
though considering I loved spamming those fuckers back when I used to play RA2, and the fact that this somehow reminds me of 'em, this gets yet another instant fave from me.

In this universe that indeed happened, it also went into full production, thus the M1A1 and probably other tanks will never be developed.

This is reminding me of some early GDI (from Command and Conquer universe) armor.
There's so much depth and detail to this piece that it blows me away.
It frustrates me that I have to name my first-born daughter BlastWaves as an ode to you.
