I think it should be something less like the Hummer and more practical like a legitimate lightweight SUV. Have a four wheel drive V6 model and a four wheel drive V8 model, as well as a performance model with a V8 tuned for speed.
And if you want to make a company out of it make a pickup truck version for heavy duty hauling.
