A reenactment recreation of German assault on Poland in 1939. Here: Hitler's Wehrmacht soldier attack a village called Wyry in Southern Poland.It happened between 3rd and 5th September 1939. Polish soldier defended the village and eventually repulsed the German attack.

The Poles are accurate in their reenacting, and proud of it.
With a slight wind change, the Landsers would be roasted. When a building burns, it is very hot!

Great picture, i don't often delve into my favs, but i had to see this one again. So well done it almost looks like an old picture, just colored. Great capture.
