Description
The Octarian sisters Tako and Yaki are the ones who do the news for Octo Valley. However the news has not been very fortunate as of late. The broadcasts have taken a darker turn as more and more Zapfish get taken and the Octarian systems shut down.Β

There actually may be more great zapfish out there. When Off The Hook does a news report on its reappearance, they mention that it looks smaller than before. Perhaps while Inkopolis's great zapfish was being moved to the Octarian city, it was stolen by a group of unknowns. The Octarians who were stealing the great zapfish were filled with shame and couldn't believe their luck when they found a wild great zapfish, albeit a slightly smaller one, that appeared along their path to DJ Octavio's bot building facility, so they agreed to not say a word about the other great zapfish and told DJ Octavio they succeeded without a hitch. If that's true, (or at least the part about two Great zapfish) then there is a larger, more powerful great zapfish somewhere out there, free for any to take. So ... who's gonna get it first?

Hold up, correct me if im wrong, but anyone here has done the missions againts on the kettles?, the Zapfish plush that is in place of the Zapfish is powerful enough to power back the great octoweapons, so, couldnΒ΄t those plushies restore the energy?

I think the plush are more like battery that generator. They can store a lot of energy but once exhausted, they need the zap-fish to recharge them.

That is great would be nice if they ever add octolings as playable characters you could have a story mode from they side as well but that will never happen.

You'd think if their engineers where able to build giant war machines and construct their underground base along with who knows how many other technologies they have.... They would have discovered some other form of power besides the 'Zapfish'....
At-least something humanity already developed in the past like coal or nuclear power maybe...

If there's ever a sequel, I hope you get to choose between being an Octoling or an Inkling, and whichever you choose determines what town hub you hang out in. There could even be Inkling vs Octoling competitions similar to Splatfest that happen every now and then. That'd be a good first step in expanding the formula.

I'm sure it'll happen, either as an update or a full-fledged sequel. I just hope that if the Octolings ever DO get their own hub someday, they have a pair of cute idols of their own.

I would be okay with either one of those. I wonder though, what do the male Octarians look like? We've only seen one and he's well... a DJ Octopi and not in a humanoid form.

They'd probably have to create a design for male Octolings, since there's no evidence of a male form on the disc. I'm sure they'll want to make a sequel for their next console, and I imagine major additions like Octolings and a new town hub would be something they'd rather save for a sequel to make it seem like a more worthy purchase.

You know I wish they had made generators so they can power their home. But it's the zapfish they need but please hope they found generators.
