Yay! I got it done in time!
This piece was made in preperation for Equestria LA this coming weekend.
The character is the ponification of Lauren Faust, deemed the mother of MLP: Friendship is Magic.

I very much like this representation of the Lauren Faust Alicorn OC you've drawn. It has a very interesting feel to it, with her pose and expression give a sense of serenity, or perhaps something I can't quite put my finger on. The details of her figure, like the shading on the underside of her wings, and the contrasting points of symmetry and asymmetry enhance the piece's beauty. All the small detail on her flowery crown is quite impressive, as well.
While Fausticorn and the foreground are indeed nice, some of the background stands out in something of a bad way. The lack of detail on the potted plants atop the columns, and the roses climbing said columns, seems odd as they don't seem to be quite that far away compared to the foreground figures. Also, the "FAUST" lettering on the arch doesn't conform to the shading you gave it, making it look like it was pasted on top of the arch rather than being part of it. In spite of those small nitpicks, I still think this is an excellent piece. Keep it up, BC!
