I've been trying to find a way I enjoy drawing Gaster so I did a ton of quick sketches of him until I was satisfied. I wanted him to look kinda ghoulish/ skeletal thats why he looks mixed. Dunno why, i just like it when he looks like that :/ Out of all I liked how the last one looked for his pre-core look and the top one that looks close to his in-game sprite for his void look. Now that I got his looks down I can draw more of him in the future without issues on his looks >: 3Enjoy guys~

"too many Gasters", is that actually a thing? is it possible to have too many? ;D
Ahh, I love all the varied expressions and facial features and body types~ I envy your ability to tweak elements of a single character's appearance while staying within your own style.
I prefer Gaster not full-on skeletal as well, though I usually draw him that way due to the assumption that he's related to the skelebros. I think the mixed ghoul/skelly idea is very cool, may have to play with that myself!

Hehe, thank you ^w^ Usually I have a bit of trouble making tweaks to characters. But since Gaster can be drawn in different ways and styles it made it easier to make different variables of him. Especially since he has no canon personality so I tried going for serious scientist before going for nerdy awkward dad : P

It's true, sometimes it's actually frustrating how ambiguous Gaster's appearance can be when you're trying to put it on paper... but at the same time it's pretty cool to have so much creative freedom.
Honestly whether he's the nerd dad or the detached clinician or even full-on super villain, I love him. Every interpretation of his character is fun and interesting to me.
Skelly Gaster's great, but IMO his sprite doesn't look anything like a skeleton, so making him more ghoulish or even puppet-like isn't really a stretch.
