Description
This TutorialI wanted to give a tutorial of my Shiva Sisters Helmet, because when I started off doing this cosplay I had a hard time figuring out what to do, or where to start.
I remade this costume 3 times to make it better, and I've included tips that I learned along the way. Hopefully my experience will be helpful!

I used Pepakura Designer - it's a free program, so you can download it at the [link] !

That is really cool o_o!
I have never seen such a technic before. Very smart!
I have a stupid question^^. How have coated the vertical and angled surfaces with resin?
And how many layers resin did you applied at all?

Hey Jamamoos!
To answer your question about the resin - let's use the example of a large cube. If I were to apply resin to a large cube, I would only paint a coat on the upward facing side of the cube. Once that side was dry, I would rotate the cube so a new side was facing upwards, and apply resin to that side. I know that the helmet in the tutorial is much more complex, but this is the idea - apply resin to surfaces which are parallel to the ground so it doesn't drip.
Overall, I covered the entire surface area of the helmet in 5 layers of resin.
Thanks for your comment, and I hope this helps!

Thank you SO MUCH for this tutorial. My husband's been wanting to cosplay a lot of characters that have a crapload of armor, and I had no idea where to begin. This will be SO helpful. You're amazing.

Quick question, what program did you use to print out your "blueprint", so to speak? I recently downloaded Blender so I could start designing some stuff for future cosplays, but I'm not sure what program you used to print out the pieces.
