It bothers me so much when someone says they can't achieve something just because they're a certain age. Okay, yes, if you're 12 and trying to get a driver's license, that won't happen because of the law, but if it's an every day thing such as drawing or getting better at a sport, don't use your age to bring you down, or use as an excuse as to how good or bad you are."I know I'm bad at passing the ball, but I'm only ten! People usually don't get better until their older!"

You can get better. You can always get better at something, no matter what your age is. Using your age to say your bad at it won't get you anywhere, especially if you just keep saying that all your life. You won't improve that way.
Age is a number, that really is all it is. All it's useful for is for saying how long you've been alive, and being legal to do certain things according to laws. Is it an excuse? No.
Don't use your age as an excuse. I really don't give a damn about your age, I just care what you're doing with your life.

Also, posting your age and then being all like "I'm 12 and I do [some adult thing]" or "I'm 10 and I still love [insert kid thing]"... that is super annoying. You're a kid and you're going to be one until you are old enough to smoke. It doesn't mean that you won't still be stupid... it just means that you aren't old enough to be stupid FREELY.Β

Yeah, agreed. Age does play somewhat of a factor, because you had a lot more time to practice during your life if you're older, but it's possible to have people who catch on to things really quickly. Β The major things that play a role are confidence, determination, and obviously, practice.

Hint: progress takes time. You age with time. So when somebody young says that they are too young, they hint that it's only the beginning of their path, and they do it for a good reason. It is not an excuse.
Maturity is required for some "simple" tasks, biology demands it. And this ridiculous calling out means only one thing: somebody has been ditching the school!

I understand complexity in fandoms, roleplays, writing, drawings and songs most of my age group wouldn't understand.
I play RPG games like Skyrim. I understand it. I'm extremely picky on what I watch/play/read. I don't enjoy childish things.
I read Homestuck, I watch Soul Eater, I watch Hetalia, I LOVE The Lorax//Once-ler fandom.. Oh and would you believe my age?
