It bothers me so much when someone says they can't achieve something just because they're a certain age. Okay, yes, if you're 12 and trying to get a driver's license, that won't happen because of the law, but if it's an every day thing such as drawing or getting better at a sport, don't use your age to bring you down, or use as an excuse as to how good or bad you are.

"I know I'm bad at passing the ball, but I'm only ten! People usually don't get better until their older!"

"I know this drawing sucks, but it's because I'm still young! Good artists are usually over twenty!"

"What do you mean I suck at making dinner? I'm fifteen, not a professional chef!"

You can get better. You can always get better at something, no matter what your age is. Using your age to say your bad at it won't get you anywhere, especially if you just keep saying that all your life. You won't improve that way.

Age is a number, that really is all it is. All it's useful for is for saying how long you've been alive, and being legal to do certain things according to laws. Is it an excuse? No.

Don't use your age as an excuse. I really don't give a damn about your age, I just care what you're doing with your life.
