A compilation of ref I made for IO while doing Sirocco, mainly so i could get her outfit right as well as getting her wings and tail in the right proportions. Her tail is a constant, the short form is just to show where it begins.Also, Between her and Storm, her's are the worst to colour for their dorsal side, Storm's are worst for the ventral . _.
Edit: This ref sheet was created back when I intended to make Sirocco as a comic and isn't the final design of what is in the book, so to confirm; IO is not a type-7, and doesn't have leg scales like Storm. All art for sirocco in the gallery is concept art and not official canon.

Just one thing I'd like to ask if you don't mind. This girl got some rocking ABS, is physically fit, and is 5"9', so how come she only weighs 110lbs? Muscle is heavy, so shouldn't she weigh slightly more? Like, I'm 5"2' and I can pick her up. Granted, there's probably a reason for this. Do avains have less bone density to make flight easier, or something like that? Sorry if this comes off as r00d, I'm just curious

Not sure if I'm qualified to answer this one but yes, birds have porous/hollow bones to make them light enough to fly. Almost every avian-human species I've seen has this modification, so I think it's safe to assume that the same goes for IO ^^ Blue-Hearts , correct me if I'm wrong, though.

Plumb gorgeous. I love IO, she's one of my favorites of your characters ^^ Her markings do look really hard to draw though lol. I can't get over that one feather sticking up on her head, it's so cute XDD
