And finally we arrive at the challenge of showing Mewtwo's emotions, even though he's wearing his helmet. You could make Mewtwo use body language to convey his emotions, but you know... Mewtwo generally just stands still and doesn't move around too much. So making him use excessive body language (which you will inevitably have to do in order to convey emotions through all that armor), may seem a little out of character for Mewtwo.
Another sollution would be to just use facial expressions anyway (despite the helmet), stubborn as we are. Here are four ways to do this. There are probably more ways, but I couldn't think of them.

1. The first way is to just use Mewtwo's eyes to express emotions. His eyes glow light blue when he's using his psychic powers. In this image, Mewtwo is angry. You can express a lot of emotions using only the eyes, however, Mewtwo's eyes usually only glow when he's angry. So if you're only using the glowy eyes, you sort of limit yourself to... one emotion.
2. Ok, so another way is to make the visor see-through. The visor is black, and it has white reflections. However, you could make Mewtwo tilt his head, so the visor will be in the shade. This eliminates the white reflections and allows you to show some of Mewtwo's face. Usually, you'll only be able to show Mewtwo's eyes, but at least you won't be limited to anger.
3. If you want to show more than just the eyes, you could consider making the helmet appear see-through every time you want to express emotions. Simply make the linework of the helmet look lighter, and draw Mewtwo's head over it. You could also remove the linework of the helmet, where ever it overlaps with Mewtwo's head. It may not seem very realistic, but it does offer the possibility to show Mewtwo's entire face.
4. The last option may only be applicable in a few instances: bang up the helmet, and give it holes on tactical locations (over the mouth and the eyes), so you can see Mewtwo's head, and thus his facial expressions underneath. Mewtwo looks as if he got into a fight with something, with sharp claws. So why is he so happy?
