Description Blastoise? Swampert?

HOW ABOUT A FREAKIN' SWAMPTOISE?

This was meant to be apart of a 'guide' that I was making explaining everything there is to know about halfbreeds and the history around them.
but this guy was just so flippin' sweet I just had to upload it ASAP.

With moves being double the power in Halfbreeds, just imagine how deadly this guys' Hydro Pump must be, even a high leveled Charizard would have the flesh ripped asunder from his wings. and that Skull bash...it'd probably crack an Aggron's hide wide open like a peanut shell.

Halfbreeds are devastatingly powerful at high levels. No wonder everyone wants them dead!

So what would a Breloom, Venusaur and Tyrantrum hybrid look like? (As in, A Breloom & Venusaur have babies, and then one of the offspring mates with a Tyrantrum?)

whaddabout Mega Evolution for this guy?

On a sidenote, could I use some of your concepts in my writing?
I'll be sure to credit, and by concepts, I mean like the Bloodred Lombre and jazz.

Certainly!

Anyone and everyone is free to use whatever headcanons/ concepts I come up with,
I don't mind at all.

Hmm, still not too sure about Mega evos for Halfbreeds just yet,
especially for those that have both of their kinds capable of Mega evos.

Still on the drawing board for that one, I'm afraid.

So cool fusion concept!

Also, hmm. As for me, I also freakin' love to think over half breeds in Pokemon World, but I don't consider them as 50:50 of genes from both parents.
Don't you mind if I would write my take over that matter?
Or you prefer your own World build and I shall -saying gently- hush?

Asking since I am happy there's someone like you with such imagination and theories for Pokemanz

and I'd love to see what you come up with.

I am so sorry for not repling for long time! >^<'
I've got way too much replies lately and it's hard to put my thoughts down AN then translate.

Anyway, I happened to actually write nailed idea of hydrids in my poke-universe here, point 26:

weirda208.deviantart.com/art/H…

I need to do ref sheet of Weirda Mirart's Pokemon, where are examples hybrid can be different mix.

Her Scrafty is Synapsida reptile, Zuzy has hair and more mammalian muscle build from her father, she's like mix between two species
while Marshall, her Swampert, being son of Nidoking sees to not have spikes on back or long tail, but he sure has Nidoking tendention to stand on two legs and use his tail in battle.
That's how I see it ^^

Hey man, love your work but I have a question. In your world of pokemon, and I know that there must be strange people like this, is there any special secret breeding group or something that works with these halfbreeds?
You know breed them on purpose to try to perfect them so they are less aggressive/dangerous in a sense while improving their appearance and genes?
I actually could see this happening in a sense as there are many people in the land of Pokémon and I'm thinking that a few to a small unknown group are interested in halfbreeds and are maybe wanting to prove that they can't be so bad and so they breed only certain pokemon with another in selective breeding (of course, with the knowledge that many purebreds would teach their young about rejecting the mixed bloods and would collect eggs from only worthy parents like ones with good temperments and breeding).

I came up with this question while drawing my Absol mix's family tree and I came up with their stories as to how they came to be and what not. So i'd thought i'd ask as I Really like your idea of pokemon and how things work. personally, if there was a game much like your world, i'd so play it as it's interesting and gives more realism.

Well, for now there's not a lot that I can say about that (No major spoilers before the start of the comic! ).

But one thing I can say is that the story's main human protagonist, Robyn, pretty much has that as one of her main goals for her journey along side other matters. as she lives with a Halfbreed (Razzle), and though she knows of their sometime violent tendencies, she wants to try and see if she can possibly change peoples views about them and show them that with just a little more care and training and so on, they can be just like regular Pokemon and that they're really not so different.

But other than that, another thing that I can mention is that if anyone, aside from Robyn, is actually super interested in Halfbreeds and not just want to snuff them out, is mainly Professors and researchers. the most notable ones being Professors Oak, Elm and Rowan, especially since they tend to work around Pokemon biology.

Elm and Rowan are especially 'lucky' on the subject as both of them have immediate access to Halfbreeds.
Elm regularly checks on Razzle and Rowan cares for Sadie the 'Tropisaur'; Pokemon Studies- Halfbreeds .
both of them work diligently to better understand everything there is to know about Halfbreeds;

Why and How they're born, How strong they get as they age and level up, Why some of them grow to be so aggressive, etc.
whatever information they learn about them is quickly shared with Prof.Oak, who deals with relationships with Pokemon and humans, in order to try to find out ways in which people AND normal Pokemon can possibly learn to coexist with these hybrids instead of just immediately fear and destroy them.

In the case of people, everyone knows and likes Prof. Oak, so they're more likely to listen to him than any other person...
it's the Pokemon that are the problem, especially the wild ones, preferring to 'kill first, then ask questions later'.

Ah, I understand you in not wanting too many spoilers. I am happy to have some information on this matter as what to learn more about your world with pokemon. Makes these things so much interesting, shame that the 'real' pokemon can't be this way as I was rather intrigued when I first heard about being able to breed them but then was disappointed a tad.

Absidian is my Absol mix who had been special breed by a group of breeders who were interested in halfbreds but wanted to perfect their nature and looks. Absidian's lines are an interesting mix; Raichu x Glameow/purugly, Absol x Lucario, and Absol x Houndoom. The 'Raieow'  was the only one who was select breed without a pc, gene alteration, and/or egg/sperm extraction used. The others had that kind of 'assistance'.

It was this linage that lead to my question to you and I see them so fondly in this world quite well <3 it suits my style of drawing pokemon more better, lol

grate work tho he looks boss

blueharuka In reply to Sopinien [2014-12-19 13:26:19 +0000 UTC]

Well, that's pretty much why you always have a grass type buddy with you to switch out with and beat it down.

I don't know why, but I absolutely hate that for us fire type fans, Solar beam is just about all we've got for facing down big shot water or ground types
(Rock is not as big of a problem thanks to Earthquake).

sure it's a powerful move and all, but I can't stand the fact that you have to waste time trying to set it up and risk getting surfed or Hydro pumped in the process.
and I already know about certain hold items, moves and abilities to speed up the set up process, but then you're still faced with problems such as recharging and not being able to use other items that just seem more useful.

It just doesn't seem like a fair thing to me.
and I really wish the makers of PKMN would make up a new move for this kind of situation that has enough power but without so many crippling drawbacks.

For the thing about the solar beam i most of the time use the charizard y ability (even tho char isnt one of my faves ) the oponent then most of the time switches in a water type and i do the same with my solarbeam typlosion but if the enemy has quick claw(idk the english name of itu know the item wich makes u turn first in a 45%chance)and luck then im pretty well ... fucked xD

Well, weighing in at nearly 1000lbs and having ridiculously squat back legs, I can tell you right now this thing won't be moving very quickly anytime soon.

But it's built like a tank (literally) and has a ton of health to spare, meaning that it can stay in battle for quite some time.
but if you've got yourself a grass type, this guy should hardly be a problem. even though he's a powerful halfbreed, he's still just water/ground (x2 really) so one or two Leaf blade attacks from a Sceptile, Leafeon, Serpirior or Gogoat would probably leave this guy hiding in his shell.

Holy crap, I can just imagine it now;

Muddle (Squirtle + Mudkip) and Marshtortle (Marshtomp + Wartortle)

I'm pretty sure the majority of them can reproduce.
it just doesn't happen too often because many of them don't get to live long enough to do so and the fact that most other purebreds refuse to have anything to do with them.
