The second before you really wake up and realize it was only a dream?

Thank you very much. Actually it started as a simple lighting test in Carrara ...

Thanks.
I'm looking at it a little, and, in an attempt to better my skills, I see that the biggest issue that I had compared to yours as far as lighting was that my setup was in an actual modeled building with a single sunlight outside with settings that were too low to justify anything properly. This is all in spite of the two scenes sharing a similar light through window property. So, my issue, I can see, is that I am impatient and that I need to let Carrara cook to a well done rather than bring it out bloody and rare. Getting pointers from the scene file in regards to values helps too.

This looks very good. Care to share some settings in Carrara? Most interesting would be the "Global Illumination" setting and the render time. I am tinkering myself with Global Illumination but I nearly always drop it because either of the low quality I produce or the long render time.

Thank you. You can have the Carrara file (empty room without copyrighted content). There you can check the settings, but beware of the render time Check your notes.
