I don't think I would have been able to resist placing the focus of the depth of field on a different location--but then it wouldn't have told the story.

The imagery in this scene is breath taking. (And I don't just mean dat ass.) Just by the visuals you can tell what has transpired here. I've said it before and I'll say it again: You've got a gift for tell a story though visuals.
