This all started with Knockout and his eyes.
Whenever he looks surprised he gets those big round eyes.
That, in turn, made me think of him as an owl.
Which led to this.
And as I said previously in one of my photos, seagulls and Starscream share quite a bit in common.
Then I just knew I had to turn the Decepticons into birds.
And this happened.

MEGLETRON YOUR WINGS ARE A F*CKING NIGHTMARE. WHY DO I ONLY HAVE THREE SHADES OF PURPLE AND 4 SHADES OF MAGENTA?
SOUNDWREN WHY ARE YOU SUCH AN OBSCURE COLOUR OF DARK NAVY?! AND WHY IS YOUR NEON SO GLOWY. PENCILS DON'T HAVE THE GLOW FUNCTION. GOD, GET WITH THE PROGRAM just kidding bby luv u forevs
Shockbooby, you were surprisingly easy to colour. I finally have a legit reason to call him Shockbooby!

References used for Dreadbatross, Skyqulture and Shockbooby poses.
Refs used for everyone's markings. Research done for everyone cept Knockowl.
I'm probably most surprised by how much I like Skyqulture and Breakfowl.
FLAUNT THAT CHEST BREAKY. ya'know I initially imaged Breakdown as a chicken because of his chest. Then I remembered that he was a mech, and therefore a ROOSTER and I was like |D
I wish I'd done the Vigeon's larger. BUT I'm not gonna fiddle. Otherwise I won't STOP fiddling.
And as much as I was stressing about Megletron's wings, I'm seriously proud of how they turned out. I'm proud of this whole damn page! Even though it looks much cooler IRL.

And incase you can't tell what they're meant to be!
Knockowl = Knockout + OWL
Breakfowl = Breakdown + Rooster
Vigeons = Vehicons + Pigeons
Dreadbatross = Dreadwing + Albatross
Skyqulture (pronounced Skyculture) = Skyquake + Vulture
Soundwren = Soundwave + Fairy Wren
Shockbooby = Shockwave + Blue Footed Booby
Stargull = Starscream + Seagull
Megletron = Megatron +Eagle

I don't think I'll do a Laserbeak. If I did, it would be a Humming Bird and in G1 colours because TFP Laserbeak doesn't give me much to work with colour-wise. Soundwren is proof of that.

NO I will not be doing Autobirds. Not at this time anyway. I would like to make them something different. Maybe lizards.
