Description
FrUS AU: Al has spent a whole week with Francis in France, in the country. Just simple nature, trees, rivers, fields, little mountains, and them. It was a nice, romantic and relaxing time but business can't be left standing for too long. He has to take the train to go back to Paris to get his flight to New York but his mind is still with Francis as he watches the scenery passing fast outside his window, and with his headphones he doesn't hear the voice of the controller asking for his ticket.PS: the letters SNCF are the acronym for: Société Nationale des Chemins de fer Français (National Company of French Railway) This isn't an ad, even if it might look like one.
PPS: The French do use the train to travel inside the country, it might seem weird to Americans, who would most likely look for a bus or a plane, so I precise it.

This is reminiscent of a typical train ride. What is going on in this piece? Who knows? It looks like the conductor is talking to America (am I right?) while he us listening to his iPod Shuffle. The visuals are stunning. I like the lines, colors, and form. The softness of the colors contrasts nicely with the crisp lines. Both work very well together. I would add more shadows and highlights to create more depth. I think that this piece would like much better with shadows and highlights. Unless, that is the effect you want, using less shadows and highlights.

This is so cute! Why's he in his WWII uniform? Did this happen at that time period or is it still modern day?

Nope it's modern day, but I assumed they would wear their uniforms even now. Also, I often see soldiers when I take the train, they have a special reduction for their train tickets. So I guess it's something familiar to see a guy in uniform, with his green army bag in the train, even if this once it's America^^

Oh I see, kinda like a reunion awwww!^^ Yeah soldiers here get discounts on everything too, 'cept their uniforms aren't as awesome-looking anymore, all camoy 'n' blah lol. q: The French uniforms were always beautiful though, 'specially the pink pants!

actually now they are no different than any other nation, camouflage in two shades: green when it tempered zones , sand colored in desert, same as every other army
