Decided to pay a tribute to one of the greatest games i've ever played:[link]

used artrage..az always,this is not finished,but hey,it will never be finished in my mind.Moreover,the first time when i drew it and came very differently (both idea and setting) from this,my computer crashed and if it wasnt for that,you would probably be looking at something completely different.

sorry for the later reply. Thank you very much about the kind words. I still love that game a lot and i am thinking of doing a portrait of mono or one of wanda and agro..i want to emphasize on its story.Which key part of the storyline do you think i should draw?

I really loved the part when Wanda turns into a giant monster but you couldn't include Agro in it 
You don't even need to select a particular moment in the game, every moment of it is inspiring

btw, did you see the third ico game for the ps3? There is a trailer in yt.. man.. its like combining sotc and ico + neverending story

artrage is sw33t for textures...have you played with self-made stencils yet?....another awesome tool that is so easy for adding all sorts of textures....

stencils could come in handy but are usually kind of uncomfortable to work with.

i usually just get a photo of a gritty wall or some other type of gritty texture...
make a stencil from it....(greyscale it...save it...import it into artrage through the stencils controls...)
then lay it over the place that i want texturing....paint or chalk it....
then mess with the layer opacity and/or layer blend modes....
i guess if the textures dont match up exactly it gets a little uncomfortable but a little bit of blending normally sorts that out...

well,right now i am working as an animator,and i am not going to have enough time, but maybe after i get to complete an episode and get paid,i'll draw SOTC fanart- atleast one more... and maybe some other stuff that i promised to do. Keep an eye

I never got to play Shadow of the Colossus but I got to watch a friend play it a bit and it was truly an awesome game. The textures in it were just beautiful.

Now this is just beautiful! The perspective is truly impressive and I love the colors you picked. And as much as I like all of your stuff, this is one of your best works, perhaps even the best one.
But seriously, I wish they would release Shadow of Colossus for PC… Same goes for Final Fantasy X… and Silent Hill 5…

thanks,its very different from how i pictured it when i started...by some force of nature it got this way,and i improvised until the end..but left many parts of the piece unfinished to create that oily effect i wanted..
I wish too, actually there was a rumor for a pc version and i lost hours looking for it and couldnt find any info.. as for sh5,its still not certain.Most sh games get ported for the pc plathform occasionally, but i dont have high hopes for sh5.
