Description
Starcraft 2: Battlecruiser VariationsModeled by Phill Gonzales
During Starcraft 2's development the idea of customizing the multiplayer Battlecruiser was explored. The concept was once a Battlecruiser was built, players could upgrade each individual Battlecruiser into Plasma or Yamato specialization. The Plasma Battlecruiser was an anti-air option, covered in missile pods. Through iteration, eventually only the Yamato upgrade remained on the Battlecruiser, while the Plasma upgrade attack behavior was given to the Terran Thor.

Ahh, I saw those in the Editor's model viewer thingamagick. They had a texture there, though it wasn't too detailed. There was also another one, I think, that was neither plasma nor yamato, though I don't recall what it was called.

I didn't realize they slipped in the game files, I'll have to take a look at what art made it in. Thanks for the info!
