The inks are done! There isn't really a whole lot to say on this one, but I think the picture is progressing nicely. I used the brush pen for the majority of Rex and his armour, though obviously for the smaller details I used the fine liner. I used a different, thicker fine liner for the Galactic Republic logo in order to make sure that it had a consistent weight to the line, and to help it stand out against the background. I think this has worked out better than I imagined, as I was worried that it might not be obvious as to what it is with Rex covering so much of it, but seeing it at this stage makes me think that you can still tell what it's supposed to be. I gave the background a bit more of a defined shape here when compared to the pencil version, including an LAAT/i gunship in the corner, as well as some spots of flames and smoke. I did this to try and suggest that a battle was taking place, and not that Rex was just blasting away at nothing. There's not really much else to say here, but I'm still happy with how it's progressing.
