So in doing an Obi-Wan Kenobi picture in time with the series on Disney+, I had to postpone work on Mando here. Though now that it's finished, I think that it looks pretty good here. I tried to build up the colours gradually, adding in layers and layers of different tones to add both texture and shadows. I think that this has worked pretty well, and has resulted in colours that look realistic yet distinct from each other. I'm pretty pleased with the silver on his beskar armour, as the areas that I left devoid of colour serve as good highlights, and the slightly darker shades of grey are good shadows. I'm pleased with the colours on the background, as they seem evocative of an alien world and help to make Mando himself stand out in the picture, while also having a slightly abstract and graphic quality. So yeah, might have taken a little while to get here, but I think this has ended up looking good.
