My wife is a bleeding heart. She agreed to watch the neighbor kid when his normal nanny flaked. So they played all sorts of games. After he left, his mom called back saying he was in tears over the loss of his favorite car. So of course we had to search the house for it.

We ended up finding it under the bed. It also solved the mystery of the missing nanny. However, while we’ll give the car back, we have kept its driver for ourselves. My wife watching a kid is a small price to pay for this little beauty.
