It was fun to dream up some more tacticool gear to give to these guys. Stuff like the hood and mag pouches were the obvious touch points.

The optical camo effect on the ghillie suit was challenging to come up with, but I think mostly successful. A thought did occur to me while doing this piece, it would look very odd to see a pair of marine legs and head sprinting across an open field. Which led into the idea that the optical camo was less to do with concealment, and more to do with confusing their enemies and they ran into them full force.

But yeah, all that is to say I tried really hard to convince myself that this was a good idea. :'D
