Oh noes, I have dared to revamp the world's most popular emoticon. Again.I've been working on this at the same time as the other emoticons. Clearly, this alternative version is extremely heavily based on the original, but with all the shading cleaned up. There's something unique about the original
that's very hard to reproduce (much kudos to `monaux for doing so), and I can imagine that lots of people are attached to it, so this may be an opportunity to keep the new legend looking familiar.Let me know if it's any good.

I liked the dA smiley emoticon when I first met it, and I still prefer it to your 'lite' version; it's eyes are somehow creepier, although thy are just as thin was the normal one. Pixels do make all the difference.

Your new smile is ok, so you did a good job there. But a combination of eyes and his pale yellow look makes me feel the original is better.

Maybe I was a bit unclear. I meant your new version was a but too pale for my taste, and the eyes too slitty-looking, but the grin on the new face is fine.
Or did you mean 'smile' as the whole emoticon in general?

I think this is nice, you've keep the original so perfectly, but adapted it to your own at the same time.
The only thing I don't like about this is the slight kink in the mouth towards the end. It looks very much out of place and out of shape to me.
