This was the first official sculpt that I did this year- and at the time it was unbeknown to me that it is- according to the Chinese calendar- the Year of the Pig!This is Ferrin the Poggle! Poggles are also known simply as "pig faeries" as opposed to "faerie pigs"- and yes there is a huge difference! It is said that they represent the very realization of the impossible and that all things have their season- thus proving that nothing is impossible. The first poggle was born when first the phrase, "When pigs fly!" was uttered.
Ferrin is the constant and boon companion of Purddy Falterfoot.

Well, he's actually quite normal as far as pig-faeries go really, so he's not freakish at all and he's a very sweet little fellow.
