So here's page two. a lot of cool stuff i wanted to have happen happens here! i got a part of the story where the team fighting Latika (owned by ) goes from the fighting area to the generator room. once there, we will deal with Latika and Dr. Shock and all of his issues. then i hand it off to someone else.so i thought what if.....
what if along the way they see a modified cy-droid transporting some K'Gl's (owned by )? they'd have to rescue them, or at least fight the robot.
what if great-man and rufus become buddies and share a mutual respect for each other?
what if rufus (owned by ) has an attack from his ghoulish side (one of this character's more interesting qualities) and great-man uses some DEMON POWER?!!
what if i turn smile (owned by ) loose on the cy-droid juggernaut and draw a kickass hack and slash panel?
oh what fun!
next up is going to be a scene from the reactor room! a double cross! more aliens snuck in! the reward great-man and rufus earned! and who knows what else!

Great page! Very clever use of Rufus' evil energies to power Great Man's eye beam - and I love the skull effect in the beam - really cool! Wonder what the aliens have given the good guys?

thanx so much. in planning this event, kept mentioning that rufus might lose control of his ghoulish self and that brought this image to my head. i'm a believer in turning things to an advantage.

Fantastic way to include the alien species! The large Cy-Droid robot that they are captured in is also very imaginative! Glad to see you coming up with these ideas

i am just taking what was already there and "expanding" on it. i figured if this is a planet sized station, it probably has a HUGE variety of cy-droids wandering around doing different tasks. very empire strikes back kind of thinking where the baddies believe that bigger technology is better!
any chance i get to put 's creations in a story, i'll do it! as you see later on in these pages where i add a "bonus" alien.

Whoah! So much to see, and so many great things happening! The ninth panel(with Great-Man unleashing on the big bot) has to be my fav. of this page! You handle every character so well, and they feel to me as if they're acting according to character...which is so often ignored in big pairings like this! Somehow I missed this page when looking for new pages the last few days, so to rectify that, and to make sure that doesn't happen again...I am adding you to my Watched list! Truly excellent work, and a nice inclusion of the aliens as well!

thanx! i try to write each character as the creator would want to see them. i try to make myself familiar with the characters before i begin and imagine what they would do in these situations. i'm also a big fan of the OC's here on DA so it's a lot of fun to play with the toys of others!

Rufus is not used to being treated like a hero. It's hard to rattle his cage, but grattitude catches him off guard

like i said in the comments on page one, this is my "a funny thing happened on the way to the generator room". i love team books where the members actually act as a team and combine powers to do what no one hero can do. so i thought i'd turn rufus's "weakness" (his ghoulish side asserting itself) to an advantage. this is also the same kind of opportunistic stuff that has made Great-man a leader in the ESI.
hope i got the "gas bubble" helmets right on this. i couldn't resist having the male with his head floating a bit eschew to show it's not attatched!
but i ramble.

thanx! it was an inspiration i had when discussing within our group. described how rufus' ghoulish side would fight for dominance. i was also thinking about marvel ultimate aliance 2 where heroes combine powers.
