It's still better than that extra thick and blurry default config.

But not better than the clear and sharp windows default for me

Well, the larger (10+ pt) font sizes look okay. Everything below 10pt looks like Segoe UI.

If you are using WindowBlinds, try the skin in the instructions document until I get my version out.

I might make a TrueTransparency skin too.
It's freeware and works on Windows XP, Vista and 7. The problem is, glass toolbars look weird on Vista and 7 when it's running.

[link] Tell me how that looks. I had to redo the frames but it looks fine now. Not much I can do about the text placement, as I'm sure you know.

Looks good
Haven't tried skinning TrueTransparency yet, but if you can change the font, Lucida Grande at 10pt is the best one.

Done. Still can't find a way to fine tune the horizontal position of the text, only the vertical positioning.

Awesome job! This would be a great default skin for Digsby's Mac version (whenever that will come out ^^).

Gotta finish this first.
Thing is, I've never run any GNOME-based OS except for some Linux Live DVDs I used for repairing certain startup problems. Aero and Aqua skins were pretty easy to make because I'm pretty familiar with these UIs. Might need to do some researching before I make this.

There's no real skin, only the window frames are skinned with WindowBlinds because everything else is handled by Digsby.
I'll release it as a WindowBlinds style for per-app skinning along with this skin. Also, I'll make a substyle for people without WindowBlinds, although it won't look as good.

WHAT2? omg, unbelievable, first I genuinely thought it was Leopard, and then I genuinely thought it was XP. lol How did you do this? I haven't seen any themes like that for 7.

bogo-d In reply to fediaFedia [2009-11-30 22:43:39 +0000 UTC]
WindowBlinds for the window frames and GDI++ for that macish font smoothing.
Everything else is Digsby.
I'll have a substyle ready for people who don't have WindowBlinds when this is finished.

Yes, there's no Mac version of Digsby yet.
Not sure about those backgrounds for the account panel, I think this one looks pretty good.
