A while back on the History Channel they had a show on the Psychology of Batman, which spoke in depth about the minds Batman and his enemies. They talked at length about the Riddler being a narcissist, and I thought, "Now here is a dude who would appreciate an L!"And here you have it!

Oh Riddler, he loves it when someone understands him. Of course if Kira and L existed in the DC universe there would be no doubt Light would kill off several known super-villains and Batman would track him down, unlike L he's not limited to formal law enforcement investigations. As for Batman VS. L I'd say they're about equal in terms of Intellectual prowess and deductive skill as Detectives; only if they ever crossed paths it would most likely be L trying to one up Batman while Batman would just focus on his work as he's too serious to get involved in something like that.
