Why does Movie!Aang always look so sad and grim in the trailers? Clearly, the boy is not reaching his hug quota! QUICKLY, EVERYONE HUG AANG!LOL POOPSHOES. Yaaay Family Guy!

My thought is that he looks angry because what makes a good trailer is seriousness, SUPERACTIONPACKED AND DRAMATIC SCENES, fading to black 500 times, and dramatic rock music. *nods*

There seems to be unwritten rules about action movie trailers.
It will have fade to blacks, epic music, a kiss, serious faces, and all the explosions and special effects from the film they can fit in with the rest of the time.

Cartoon!Aang has the whole stigma of "how dare he has a 14 year old girlfriend and can't kill Ozai" immaturity label with ADHD.
So emo away, Aang. I've seen the Rurouni Kenshin TV series and the OAV movies. It's not unheard of for the same main character be waaay different attitudewise.

lol.....funny thing is, you even got the kimono worn on Katara correct; wearing it left over right means you're alive, while right over left means the dead wear it that way. In the movie, all the females wear the kimono's right over left.

I AGREE MAN. The special thing about Aang was that despite the fact that he literally had the weight of the world on his shoulders, he was still a cheerful, outgoing and happy-go-lucky kid. Sure he had his more serious moments, but he never stayed upset for long.
I'm so scared the movie won't live up to my expectations... I already know that a goofy and sarcastic Sokka is out of the question too. ;__;
