Hunter was tired. He had been walking ALL day, even running a few times, marking his territory. This part of the forest is now his, and nothing had stopped him. He now slowed to a gentle walk, and sighed. 'I should probably rest soon,' he thought to himself. As he sniffed the air he watched the stars twinkle. It was early in the night. The sun had just finished setting. A warm breeze tickled his nose, bringing the scent of dogs on it. Wait, dogs? He suddenly heard barking in the distance. Red filled his vision as rage built inside him. 'I'm NOT losing all this hard work to some mangy mutts! I'll teach them!' He reared, let out a warning bellow and charged towards the barks and yips, steeling himself for a fight.
