Description
Azalea opened her mouth to ask the filly a question when a mare came out of nowhere and struck her hooves at Azalea's face.

"Who are you, talking to other mares' foals?!" She squealed before turning to the filly. "And you-!"

"Oh, hi auntie..." The filly mumbled, shaking in fear.

"Don't you 'hi auntie' me! Get back to your mother RIGHT NOW!!"

The mare shoved the filly, causing her to fall and roll. The filly started to sob.

"GET UP!" The red dun tobiano mare yelled.

Azalea rushed to the filly's side, nosing her up, but was interrupted by the mare screaming again.

"Get away from her!"

The mare charged at Azalea but stopped short when Raiden stood between the three females.

"Are you okay, sweetheart?" Azalea whispered.

The filly sniffed, then nodded.

"Get out of my way, stallion!" The mare said, rearing.

Raiden narrowed his eyes and stayed put, not intimidated. Meanwhile, Azalea felt motherly rage build up in her. She stepped around Raiden and puffed up her chest.

"How dare you treat a foal this way! You savage beast! Have you no respect?! This isn't even your foal! And even if it was, you have no right to hurt her, so back off!!"

The red dun was about to retaliate when she looked past her and smirked.

"Mama! There's a herd coming!" Pablo whinnied.

Azalea looked back only to see a small her making their way over to them, probably attracted by all the commotion.

Raiden snorted in annoyance and glared at the mare.

"You planned this, didn't you?"

The mares' smirk grew into a grin.

Though the exchange between the filly and mare was pleasant, and just as Azalea was about to help the little filly... a mare comes running over and strikes at Azalea. Before questions could be asked, the mare yelled "who are you talking to other mares' foals?!"

The red dun tobiano mare [ee/AA/Dd/nTb] glared at Azalea and drove a wedge between her and the filly.

"Oh, hai auntie..." mumbled the filly. "Don't you hi auntie me! You get back to your mother, RIGHT NOW!"

This mare began to roughly push the filly back toward a herd near by. What will Azalea do?

➤ Speak up and defend the poor filly, the mare doesn't need to be so harsh.

➤ Let it go... not your herd, not your problem.
