NEW SPECIES YAY

The characters were going to a new planet in our RP and we needed some designs for the inhabitants so I decided to be an ass and go "HeY lET's uSE tHiS NEw SPeciEs tHAt i'm wORKiNG On"
It's the updated, more polished version of the red alien lady in this: which was supposed to be a redesign of an old OC Raven. She was the original inspiration behind their moving "hair" since she had hair that could do the same (I think she was some kind of demon? Idk, the chat logs are long gone from back then so I can't go back and check).
But now I've both redesigned her species and also her as a character. I basically abandoned her back in like 2015-2016 ish and had no plans of reviving her, but I was still attached to the idea of moving hair being used as extra limbs. Finally mustered up the motivation to design this new species more thoroughly with that hair-idea in mind (but of course making it a little more realistic than "ooo spooky posessed demon hair ooo"
This isn't their final ref sheet, I'll make that some other day when I've written more about their species in general instead of just their designs. I just made this to get the idea down on paper.

Raven, the old OC that inspired this species is the blue-hued Jaal on the sheet. Her new name is Meyah'rias, but to make it easier for foreigners she just calls herself Rias [Ree-aas]. This species uses ' alot in their names, which can make pronounciation tricky to some.

Did these fullbodies without bases btw, so no reference links this time! I'm glad I'm getting better at anatomy to kinda move away from using a ton of references. Obviously refs help me learn, but it feels good to know I've made progress.
