God I have just been,,, not active have I
I'm really sorry about that!! It's been christmas and new year and birthdays and just me being really tired and lazy. I've also had an upset stomach over this last week or so (i threw up in a car ayooo) and I've had trouble walking because of some complications with my right leg. Because of my limping while having that wart on my sole treated, I kept twisting my leg outwards so I wouldn't step on it. And now that it's almost gone and I can walk normally, my leg is still twisted outwards out of habit. So I have to force my leg to be angled forward while walking and it's seriously painful on my hip and knee. Just a load of fun

BUT I GOT A TABLET FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOE this shit is good it's a Gaomon pd1560 and it's honestly wonderful. I really love the way it runs. The screen is crisp and silky, the pen's pressure sensitivity is awesome and it also works in left handed mode. (But I don't really use left handed mode because I don't use the buttons at all anyway lol). It has a built in screen which I do prefer, because while those black, blank ones without screen are good in their own way, I never really felt like they were for me. they were a bit too confusing and clunky, and I like being able to see directly what I'm doing.
only thing slightly annoying is that when you tilt the stylus, the cursor is like 2 mm deviated to the left of the nib. Calibrating it didn't work either. But it only took about five minutes of practice sketches to get used to it!

And while calibrating my stylus and getting used to using it, I made these sketches! The lines are really messy (i know), I did intend to make lineart but I got lazy. I kinda like the sketchy style though. And it also gave me some good practice with drawing pony legs and bodies.
Windstrike is also missing his cutiemark because I'm still working on redesigning it. Lockhart's cutiemark will be a little changed, as well.
Also the pony in the bottom left is a concept I've been thinking about. She's missing her front legs and instead uses her wings to walk like a wyvern. Now wether or not 1. wings are able to bend like that or 2. the wings are strong enough to hold up her body is something I'm just kinda going to.... ignore for now??? That idea is still HEAVILY WIP so I don't know if I should give her prosthetic legs or not instead.
We'll see what happens!! I think it looks cool though. And considering she's a survivor, it makes sense for her to think outside the box and come up with another solution to make walking easier. But maybe I can brush it off by saying it's magic. You know, like the show does lol

Anyway i'm back now!! Since I have my tablet I should be able to make art quicker and more easily. Thoguh I'll need some time to get used to this thing first, so expect a lot of mediocre doodles coming up
