I rarely do pieces with white backgrounds, but when I do, I always like the result
. I remember when I was first making it (~2:30am) I was thinking about how cool the symbolism I'd put into it was, and now I've got no idea what that was. If any of you art majors want to try to analyze it, go for it
.If you don't like it, tell me why! I'm trying to improve as an artist, which I can't do on my own.

i like this one, the crispness of the lines is really something. not sure if i need the text, and the white circle on the right may be too prominent. nice work.

ehh, I'm always looking for criticism, but this is one of the few things I made that I can't find anything wrong with, so I wasn't expecting much. And thanks for the compliment, it's good to know that people are willing to fight to defend my random photoshop doodles

needless to say that its crucialto have accurate coloring when your dealing with photos...
so thats why my pictues may look discolored... i hope not but maybe

they look fine, but people might just think you're going for a weird off-color look with your pictures, I wasn't really paying that much attention to the colors in your pics.

The only thing that puts me off is the text. Regardless of the fact that I prefer not to have text on my artwork, I'm having trouble seeing what "put into perspective" has to do with this piece. I will say that the placement of the text is spot on.

first of all i really appreciate seeing someone on this site whose actually willing to listen to critique.
as far as aesthetics go this is fairly interesting, which for a wallpaper is probably enough. however, generally speaking it's hard for me to take fractal as seriously as a piece of art, which makes this hard to critique. i would encourage you too explore this medium but consider incorporating it into others which are more effective for conveying an artistic interest.

I never considered the fractals as art either, but people kept telling me they were, so I kinda "gave in to peer pressure" and started calling them pieces of art.
I've also been thinking about incorporating the fractals into some kind of 3d art, but I'd need to practice with 3d first.
And as for me being willing to listen to critique, if you want, you can go through and rip my entire gallery to shreds, I'll be happy about it
