"Please tell me these aren't the New Republic's answer to the Empire's E-11." "They're not. They're the New Republic's answer to the Old Republic's DC-15." "That good huh?" "The Sith 'll be running with their tails between their legs in no time with these babies." - Generals Lando Calrissian and Han Solo upon first encountering an F-11D.
Commissioned shortly after the Droid Blockade of Cato Nemoidia in 26 ABY, the F-11D was commissioned at the behest of the New Republic to develop a brand new blaster rifle for their armed forces. The New Republic had been relying on older models of blaster rifles such as the DH-17 Blaster Rifle, A280 Blaster Rifle, and the Clone Wars Surplus DC-15A Blaster Rifle. The old Imperial E-11 had been soundly rejected as a bad weapon and its strong association to Imperial tyranny. BlasTech, the original creators of both the E-11 and DC-15 took up the challenge of developing the new weapon to become the primary weapon of the New Republic Military. After two years of work, a brand new rifle was completed: the F-11D Blaster Rifle. The Rifles had just entered mass production when the Shadow Wars broke out in 28 ABY. Since then, the transition to using the F-11D has been gradual, with newly trained soldiers being granted first use of the weapons. However the New Republic largely restricts the F-11D for use with Naval forces for shipboard defense and boarding actions while Army forces use larger rifles. In 29 ABY, the 501st Legion began to retire the old DC-15 surplus rifles they had been using and started handing out F-11D to their forces.
The F-11D is thus far proving to be a popular rifle and is often considered by veteran soldiers of the Clone Wars and Rebellion as "the best of both the DC-15 and the E-11 with the deficiencies of neither." The F-11D does away with the rarely used folding stock of the two aforementioned rifles and instead reinforces the grip beneath the barrel of the rifle with a collapsible fore-grip to accommodate a wide array of different hand shapes. A removable butt stock is available for the rifle though to make up for the lack of folding stock. By default, the rifle is equipped with a J19 Electroscope, although the blaster's accuracy isn't quite great enough for a reliable shot at such a distance as a sniper rifle but can be used as effective suppressive fire weapon at longer ranges. Also like its DC-15 and E-11 predecessors, the F-11D comes with a built in stun feature.
The average F-11D uses a fairly standard black colored stock and grip, but a variety of other custom stocks and grips are available. The 501st Legion has special ordered a large quantity of white gripped and stocked F-11Ds (shown above) to match their armor. Jedi Knight Kento Marek owns a red stocked F-11D but only uses it while trying to remain incognito. 501st Captain Phasma owns a chromium plated F-11D with matching butt stock as her personal weapon.

I just went with whatever was on Wookieepedia about it. Nowhere did it mention a grenade launcher or shotgun attachment. starwars.fandom.com/wiki/F-11D…

I'm rather picky when it comes to using anything from Disney Canon. I don't mind the First Order stormtrooper armor and weapons since it seems like a natural progression in the development of both. Most of the First Order ships and tech are pretty cool imo so I've no problems using them. The "Resistance"/Rebellion V2 just seems to have gotten nothing but ships hit by the ugly stick (T-70 X-Wings and the RZ-2 A-Wings excluded of course), and their tech isn't much to write home about either.
