sometimes cameras decide to do something different from what you command to do...and it's better!
love this shot.

Thank you!

Thanks! I occasionally do something different...rarely...well, more like "uniquely"

kinda cool (just lie and say it was intentional)

LOL yeah...I intentionally forgot to change the exposure when I pointed my camera up at the sky and decided to develop the negs during Mythbusters so that I would have to wait for a commercial break to dump out the developer, thus overdeveloping them,

clouds + overexposure + overdevelopment

Hmm.. cool. The last time I had something like that was when I placed too little developer into the tank. I actually like the effect but haven't been able to duplicate it.

This was sort of accidental as well. The over-development and film rating (EI200) wasn't, but the exposure itself was. I didn't compensate for the bright sky.

dramatic lighting, where was it shot?

In front of the Chiang Kaishek memorial (now known as the "Freedom Memorial", I think) in Taipei, Taiwan. When the weather is decent there are lots of pigeons there. Since quite a few people are around and many bring the pigeons crumbs, they are very human-tolerant.

Exposure. The shot is extremely overexposed.
