Jasmine Patel was getting used to a lot of things. Being a tangible person again, and all the stress that comes along with trying to reintroduce a person, who had been considered deceased for years, back into society. Not surprisingly, that required substantial paperwork. So she decided to take a quick break from filling out forms, talking to people on the phone, and visiting government offices for a nice relaxing flight.

Another thing she had to get used to...having superpowers.

Jasmine strode towards her bedroom and, a few minutes later, was clad in her new uniform. Adorned in the colors of her family's native India, she took a second to look at herself in the mirror. She shook her head in disbelief at the powerful visage staring her back. A couple of steps outside and she took off like a rocket into the sky. Enjoying the feeling of freedom, she started singing to herself.

"Colours of the world (Spice up your life)
Every boy and every girl (Spice up your life)
People of the world (Spice up your life, aahh)

Slam it to the left (if you're having a good time)
Shake it to the right (if you know that you feel fine)
Chicas to the front (uh, uh)
Go round
Slam it to the left (if you're havin' a good time)
Shake it to the right (if you know that you feel fine)
Chicas to the front (huh huh)
Hai, sí, ja! Hold tight!"

"Jas!" yelled a voice in Jasmine's head, stopping her.

"Isla!"

"Just a reminder that, even though you're not living in my head, we still have a mind link. So whenever you're doing your audition for the X-Factor in your head, I can hear it...and it's really distracting."

"Would you like a different song, 2 Become 1 perhaps?" Jasmine replied, giggling.

"Very funny...you know this mental conversation is keeping me from paying full attention in this meeting."

"Don't use my beautiful singing as an excuse. You wouldn't be paying attention anyway. It's a good thing Kevin takes notes for you...you're spoiled, you know."

"You're not the first to say that." the redhaired pilot replied. "So you still on for tonight?"

"I don't know, I think I just want to get in my comfy robe and watch tv."

"Come on Jas! You're hot, you're single. Let's go out and have some fun. We'll be fighting them off with a stick, Americans love our accent."

"Isla..."

"No arguing. We're going to put on our slinkiest dresses and see if we can cause people to get whiplash..."

Isla's train of thought was derailed by an alert on her phone.

"Looks like there's a car chase on the 405. Jas, I don't think I can get out of this meeting. You think you can handle this on your own?"

"I'm on it." Jasmine replied as she adjusted her flight path and headed towards the busy highway.
